Our Fabrics
Our fabrics are crafted from recycled nylon, giving materials a second life to be love by you.
It is very important to us that all materials and fabrics we use to make our garments are certified to be free from harmful chemicals. This ensures our clothing is safe and skin-friendly for you to wear with confidence, as well as being environment friendly.
Everything we use is either certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100, or sent to an independent fabric testing company - Shirley Technologies - and have successfully passed screening tests for potential skin irritants
Plain Fabric
Our plain fabrics are the softest material that feel light and buttery on the skin. Designed for beachwear with quick drying properties.
The fabric is made from 78% recycled polyester and 22% elastane. The polyester is extracted from plastic that would have otherwise ended up in landfill, or polluting our oceans. By recycling it into fabric, it gives it a second life to be loved by you.

Shimmer Fabric
The shimmer fabrics are gorgeous two tone materials that constantly shift in appearance due to the shimmer effect catching the light and changing the colour of the fabric. When you move, the fabric shimmers and looks almost fluid.
The fabric is made from 78% recycled nylon and 22% elastane. The recycled nylon (ECONYL®) is made from nylon extracted from materials destined for landfill. Every 10,000 tons of ECONYL® raw material saves 70,000 barrels of crude oil and avoids 65,100 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, compared with new nylon production.

EDGY JAYD shimmer fabrics are certified to be free from restricted chemical substances using OEKO-TEX Standard 100 methodologies by an independent fabric testing company in the UK, Shirley Technologies.
